Currently, Shen's Gallery carries a wide range of products in a variety of different finishes for client's choices.
Items may be finished in thin layers of shellac finish, in thick layers of real lacquer from the nature, in their original unfinished condition, or waxed.
Each type of finish can be unique to a particular item, pending on the age, the wood, the style, the original finish, and the condition of the item when found. Generally, for furniture pieces made with better wood and are older in age, we tend to preserve their original look and finish, pending that the item is intact and without much replaced parts. There are also items finished in high gloss for the specific desired look.
Customers are encouraged to ask more detailed questions in regards to the items to be purchased to ensure satisfaction in purchase.
